Rescue Village offers Educational outreach programming for large groups, schools, public/private consortiums presented at your location.

Outreach Lessons:

W.A.I.T/Dog-bite Prevention program-(Preschool, Elementary, & Special Needs):

This dog safety & bite-prevention program utilizes the W.A.I.T system provided by Prevent The Bite organization. *In-person sessions utilize therapy dogs for practice

RV’s ABC’s: A Travel through our History program- (All ages, general public):

This program gives an overview of the history and general operations of Rescue Village. *Therapy dog accompaniment upon request for in-person sessions, PowerPoint presentation also available for serviceable areas

Action: Empathy vs. Compassion, Anti-bullying program-(Elementary-High school ages):

This program discusses the differences & similarities between empathy & compassion and includes extensions on anti-bullying schematics. *Therapy dog accompaniment upon request for in-person sessions.
