Summer/Winter Camps

Summer Camp

Rescue Village hosts summer camps for children ages 9-12 that provide a unique opportunity that’s both an educational and enjoyable experience. Our campers meet fascinating guests (both human and non-human) and help to enrich the lives of our shelter animals through:

  • Making and baking shelter animal treats
  • Socializing puppies and/or kittens
  • Learning about other animal organizations/rescues through guest speakers
  • Increasing awareness through conservation projects
  • Making shelter animal blankets
  • Helping shelter animals get adopted

The registration fee for a camp session is $250 due at the time of registration. For more information, please contact our Education Coordinator at education@rescuevillage.org, or to register, please complete the application below. Once your application is processed, you’ll receive an email confirmation and Welcome letter with further instructions.

Winter Camp

Winter Camp is held at Rescue Village for children ages 9-11. This two day event runs from 10am-1pm and the registration fee is $100, due at the time of registration.

During the “Season of Giving” campers will learn about adaptations in animals during the winter months and what they can do to help. Campers will engage in hands-on activities; such as, making and baking animal treats, building bird feeders, making shelter toys and blankets, socializing with animals, and teaching others how to be kind.  Activities will be held indoors as well as outdoors, so come dressed for the weather.

Registration is limited and fills quickly on a first-come, first-serve basis so register early!

For more information or questions please contact Nicole Latosky via email at education@rescuevillage.org, or to register, please complete the application below. Once your application is processed, you will receive an email confirmation and Welcome letter with further instructions.
