Rescue Village Receives National Recognition & Funding
Rescue Village is honored and grateful to be recognized as one of the top shelters in the U.S.A. through Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation and Tractor Supply Co. as part of the Mutts Across America program!
This recognition, announced in July of 2025, celebrates the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and community who make Rescue Village a place of hope and second chances for homeless animals every day.
According to MuttNation.com, “Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation and Tractor Supply Company team up to provide a quarter-million dollars in grants through MuttNation’s Mutts Across America program. A $5,000 donation is made to one shelter or foster-based rescue in each state across the country. Organizations are carefully researched and vetted before honoring one outstanding nonprofit in each state. Shelters are surprised with the grant, and there is no application process.”
Shelters from each state are chosen based on strict criteria that involves: High Adoption Rates, High Volunteerism, Fiscal Responsibility, High Activity/Fundraising, Specialty, Community Presence, Website & Social Media Presence, and Advocacy.
