Rescue Village

From Here to Home - and Beyond

Rescue Village takes a holistic approach to helping pets and people. From foster and adoption programs to our partnerships with Pets for Patriots  and Pets for the Elderly – we grow and protect the bonds between animals and human beings to make this world a better place for everyone.

Rescue Village is about making matches, teaching compassion, preventing and stopping cruelty, and building families who care about animals. We are a growing community center for pets and people. It is no wonder that a visit to the shelter amazes and leaves visitors smiling. We are always buzzing with activity and you never know what you might find here. From the adoptions of cats, dogs, small critters, even barn animals through our unique barn program, we celebrate new beginnings for homeless, abused and neglected animals. Rescue Village is about going from here to home – and beyond.

Community Cats

During the winter, some people take care of outdoor/community cat colonies. These cats love and prefer the outdoors and can thrive in all sorts of locations and weather conditions! If you have a stray or feral cat in your yard, there are some things you can do to help make them more comfortable during the winter.
