Rescue Village’s 2025 community impact reflects the collective work of staff, volunteers, adopters, and supporters across Northeast Ohio. These numbers represent the scale of lifesaving care, medical treatment, adoption services, and community outreach provided through our shelter and programs.
Yuki arrived at Rescue Village in early June 2025 when her owner, facing financial hardship and an out-of-state move, made the difficult decision to surrender her.
Rescue Village’s mission sometimes reaches far beyond Northeast Ohio. While our work begins in the local counties we serve, compassion does not recognize borders, and sometimes neither do the animals who need our help.
Rescue Village’s work is made possible not only by the care provided inside the shelter, but also by the strong network of community members, organizations, and volunteers who step forward to support homeless animals throughout the year.
