Intake

Rescue Village is a limited intake, unlimited stay shelter.

Rescue Village averages at 80% occupancy daily. The shelter can house 53 dogs/puppies and 75 cats/kittens on any given day. In addition, Billie’s Barn is complete with 5 stalls for domestic barn animals atop 19 acers of land, along with dedicated lobby space for small animals.

RESCUE VILLAGE RESIDENTS

  • More than 60% of Rescue Village residents are strays or owner surrendered through the intake office.
  • Our Intake Manager is collaborating with over 30 partners nationwide for animal transfers.
  • Through humane investigation following rulings in favor of The Geauga Humane Society.
