Each year, Tails at Twilight brings together animal lovers and compassionate supporters for a memorable evening benefiting Rescue Village. This signature gala celebrates second chances, lifesaving care, and the extraordinary bond between people and pets.
For decades, Rescue Village has served the community by providing shelter, medical care, and loving homes for thousands of animals in need. Tails at Twilight helps make that work possible.
Proceeds from the evening directly support the animals in our care, funding critical veterinary treatment, enrichment programs, daily shelter operations, rescue efforts, and life-saving interventions for animals who have nowhere else to turn.
Ticket & Table Host Information
Individual Tickets are $250. Table sponsorships and other ticket options are also available.
With seating limited, we encourage guests to reserve their place early.

GALA PROGRAM
5:30 – 7:00 pm: Enjoy music, open bar, hors d’oeuvres and adoptable animals as you place your bids for the silent auction.
7:00 – 9:00 pm: Join us for dinner and a program featuring our 2026 Rescue Video, followed by the Fund-a-Need Paddle Raise and Live Auction. Bid on the iconic Alpha Dog at Woofstock, where your dog’s image could be transformed into a cartoon and featured as the face of Woofstock 2026!
HONORARY CHAIR
Jill Vedaa
We’re thrilled to welcome Honorary Chair Jill Vedaa. Formerly of Salt+, Jill is a three-time James Beard Foundation Award nominee, has appeared on Food Network’s Chopped, and now serves as Vice President for Culinary Operations at Buildings and Food. She is also bringing one of the most exciting auction packages of the night: a private in-home dinner for 6 to 8 guests prepared by Jill herself. Invite your friends, set the table, and get ready to bid big for a great cause.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
DanaMarie K. Pannella
We are also honored to feature keynote speaker DanaMarie K. Pannella, Associate Attorney at Holland & Muirden. DanaMarie is deeply involved in animal welfare issues across Ohio and has become a trusted partner to Rescue Village as we navigate the legal and practical realities of protecting animals in our community. Alongside Jeff Holland, Rescue Village’s prosecutor, DanaMarie brings insight, urgency, and real commitment to this work. Her voice is exactly the kind of voice this evening deserves.

Alpha Dog package includes
1. Renowned syndicated cartoonist, Jenny Campbell, will transform your dog into a cartoon, and its face will be integrated into the Woofstock logo. It will be everywhere, including event signage, billboards, yard signs, TV advertisements, T-shirts, and more!
