The Summer Slumber Party is an overnight adventure where animal lovers come together to raise critical funds for shelter pets while enjoying an exclusive evening behind the scenes at Rescue Village.

Decorate your assigned room or kennel and compete to win a prize. Get matching pajamas for your team, promote your shelter animal live on social media to help find them a home, or simply bring your laptop to watch a movie as you snuggle in with your shelter animal, giving them the love they deserve.

Become a Shelter Hero

Every dollar raised helps provides food, veterinary care, special surgeries, vaccines, enrichment, shelter, and second chances for homeless animals in need.

When: Friday, July 17th, 2026: 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Why: Rescue Village is not a government agency and receives no taxpayer funds or revenues from any local, state or federal government agency. All of Rescue Village’s lifesaving programs and services are made possible by the ongoing generosity of people making contributions of money, time and supplies.

To earn a spot at the Summer Slumber Party, participants or teams pledge to raise $1,000 for shelter animals.

Don’t worry, you don’t have to make the donation yourself.

Most fundraisers reach their goal through small gifts from friends, family members, coworkers, and fellow pet lovers who want to support animals in need.

With a personal fundraising page and support from the Rescue Village team, you’ll have everything you need to make a lifesaving impact.

Here’s what fundraising $1,000 can look like:

• 40 people giving $25
• 20 people giving $50
• 10 people giving $100
• Or any combination that gets you there!
