A Message from the Executive Director

Times are tough for everyone, with inflation, increased electric and fuel costs, and rising interest rates. It’s true, we’ve all been hit pretty hard, and it is no different for Rescue Village. Essential vaccines all animals receive and other supplies vital to the health and wellbeing of the animals have increased significantly. It costs a lot more these days to keep all the creatures warm in the shelter during these cold winter days.

RVT, Grace Blamble and Hank

But Rescue Village remains undaunted in providing its lifesaving work to needy animals. We have courage because our big-hearted donors continue to give generously in the face of the economy. I don’t know how to say thank you enough. It is heartening to everyone at Rescue Village to know that you have our backs as we do this vital work. Without your help, 9-year-old Nino and 8-year-old Hank would not have received muchneeded knee surgery, and poor Trooper would have never had a chance. Thousands of cats, dogs, small creatures, and domesticated barn animals would not be adopted and living their best lives on couches and paddocks at this very moment. So, thank you, and may the new year bring us all peace and prosperity.
