Snoozing for Shelter Animals

2024 Top Fundraisers

On Saturday, February 10, 2024, Rescue Village hosted the annual Valentine Slumber Party to benefit the animals. Participants spent the night in a kennel or room with a shelter dog or cat at Rescue Village with the goal of raising $1,000 each to benefit the animals. 27 kids and adults decorated their space and made toys, treats, and blankets for the animals. The fundraisers worked tirelessly to gather support and donations for Rescue Village animals.

Lori and Gage returned for the second year, fundraising over $4,000 as a team in 2024 earning their spot as top fundraisers. Jaime Howson put in the work and was RV’s runner up, raising $1,360.03 as a team of one.

The Jacksons with nationally syndicated cartoonist, Jenny Campbell

Participants showed their creativity with their pajamas and room decorations. The Jacksons took the crown, winning best Room and PJs as first-year attendees.

Interested in participating in 2025? Email events@rescuevillage to reserve your spot.  This is not the official sign-up. Once tickets become available, we will email interested members prior to making registration public and offer priority registration.
