Long ago, Rescue Village began investing in humane education services. From summer camps, school visits both at the humane society and on campus, and in-service projects for kids and adults alike, teaching people about the realities of the work of a humane society – both its challenges and triumphs – is its own reward. Like a hospital, or a police department, the need for Rescue Village’s work will exist as long as people own pets in Northeast Ohio, and people need to know about this fact.
Rescue Village offers events and programs annually to address being a responsible pet owner, learn more about RV staff and animals, and how to have a humane heart.
RV staff offers summer camps to kids ages 8-12, group tours upon request, and offsite education events to bring awareness to the work being done at Rescue Village.
Rescue Village happens because of everyone's generosity!
